Orman in the lead!

To many peoples' surprise Independent Greg Orman has taken the lead. After trailing Republican Pat Roberts for many weeks, Orman has now taken the lead. Orman is in the lead by two points putting Orman at 44 and Roberts at 42. Kansas is being threatened with statements such as "Kansas, you're a republican state, for goodness sake." Orman is doing good for the community by recently visiting  retirement homes and volunteering at a phone bank.

Greg Orman- behind but not for long...?

Greg Orman is behind by quite a bit in the Kansas Senate race. Being Independent, Greg Orman is trying to appeal more to Democrats because many republicans are definitely voting for republican Pat Roberts. In the last few weeks, if I was Orman, I would try to get as many Democrats on board as possible- telling them about what democratic ideas I would incorporate for them if I was put into office. That's what he needs to strive for. Orman's only hope now is to keep recruiting democrats through consistent advertising and TV commercials. He needs to show the Democrats that having an independent leader is more in their favor than having a republican leader.

Roberts back in the Race!

In the last few weeks something almost unbelievable happened. Pat Roberts is now back in the running. Roberts now tentatively stands at a 0.5 edge. Its still not necessarily in his favor but with two weeks left in the running, he is a lot closer to victory than he once was. I think its good that some competition is being added, maybe it will amp up the race and how hard they will have to work.

The chance of democrats winning the Senate over all are going down daily. However; there is still hope. With Kansas, the hopes remain in the form of an independent winner that will demonstrate some democratic qualities. Democrats will work with the independent representative Greg Orman.

http://www.ormanforsenate.com/splash?splash=1 here is a link they are providing to join the campaign.

Most Democrats view Greg Orman as their last chance. If there was still a strictly democratic representative, devote democrats would probably vote for him but in this situation, they are hoping Orman will win so there will be one less republican in the Senate.
